Grain Free Avocado Brownies
Preheat the oven to 350ºF (177ºC). Add sunflower seeds to a blender or food processor and grind down into a flour.
Mix together the avocado, eggs, apple sauce, vanilla, coconut sugar and coconut oil using a food processor or blender. Alternatively you can mash the avocados really well and mix together the listed ingredients until combined.
Transfer mixture to a bowl and mix in the cacao powder, baking soda and sea salt.
Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and pour in the brownie batter.
Smooth out the batter using a spatula.
If you choose to use chocolate chips, sprinkle them on top before placing the brownies in the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes until you can place a toothpick in and it comes out clean.
Once the brownies are all done, remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for few minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack to cool or serve immediately and enjoy!
